Eligibility
Eligibility for membership in the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861–1865 is based on the requirements formerly established by the Grand Army of the Republic and is limited to daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters, of any generation, through lineal descent only. As stated in our National Constitution and Bylaws, these requirements shall not be changed. The minimum age for membership is eight years.

National General Orders Subscription Form
Effective January 1, 2016, all NEW members with Internet access will need to obtain the National General Orders magazine through the National Website. Call your Tent or Detached Tent President, Members-AtLarge call the National MAL Representative, for the user ID and password for the Members Only webpage on the National Website. Those who do not have Internet access must complete this form to receive the National General Orders magazine via United States Postal Service (USPS). Send this form with your membership application.
