ELIGIBILITY:
Students who are lineal descendants of a Union veteran of the Civil War.
The scholarship is given in August to a Junior or Senior in a college or university
who has satisfactory scholastic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA), a good moral
character and a firm belief in our form of government. Applications
are only given after completion of the Freshman College year.
AMOUNT:
$ 200 a year, non renewable. Number awarded annually varies, usually 3 or
4.
SELECTION: A
committee at the annual meeting of the organization held each August selects recipients and notifies them by the end
of September.

self-addressed stamped envelope.
A response can not be given to a request without
an enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope.
Requests will be forwarded to chairman of the committee. (Chairman may change each year) You will receive
an application from the current Chairman with contact information for any
questions.
Completed applications must be returned to the chairman of the committee
by April 30 deadline to be considered for grants for the current year. Please
allow shipping time.
