The name Mary E. Shelton Tent #32 changed to Hanna Moore Tent #32, by permission of the Pennsylvania Department. A special meeting was called February 25, 1926, for the purpose of changing the name to Hannah Moore, a Pennsylvania woman whom the Tent wished to honor.

Hannah Moore was from Meadville, Pennsylvania. She had no direct dealings with the Civil War itself, but she was recognized for her sympathetic understanding of those who were in need or distress. She performed such outstanding work during the Civil War that Veterans in the surrounding districts remembered her by giving special honor to her on Memorial Day. She was active and patriotic in her untiring services to our soldiers and their families.
