
The Scotland County Court House sits in the middle of the Memphis, MO. town square. Pictured is the east side of the court house where the activities will take place during the wake and vigil. To the right in the middle of the north side of the square is the Memphis Theater where the Lincolns will present their "Evening with the Lincolns" production. Advance tickets are required. In the center of the picture which is the North East corner of the town square is the Payne Funeral Chapel where John P. Byrne will lay in state from noon Friday to noon Saturday. The streets will be blocked off so that visitors may go through the Chapel or listen to activities at the steps of the Court House. The changing of the guards will take place every half hour during the 24 hour viewing at the Chapel.

Highway 136 runs parallel at the North edge. John P. Byrne's gravesite
is at the top of the crest and on the left obscured by the large tree.
Public visitors will be on the left side of the cemetery road, military
units will be on the right side of the cemetery road and Allied Orders
and those doing funeral duty will be to the back of the gravesite.
